Following the client brief, we identified some key priorities around which the entire design process would revolve. To begin with, we decided to alter the volume of the existing space. The region with workstations, from where the employees would operate, had double the height. This ensured that employees enjoyed a free atmosphere while working. Connected with this region through a staircase were reimagined laboratories, offices for the key personnel, storage spaces, a pantry-lunch room, and a conference room. Further, we decided that we must not limit ourselves to designing an office but ensure that the space thoroughly reflects the Evergreen brand through interior design. Lastly, we identified materials and concepts that must be used to ensure durability and minimal maintenance yet retain the aesthetic appeal of the space.
