Evergreen

Following The Client Brief, We Identified Some Key Priorities Around Which The Entire Design Process Would Revolve. To Begin With, We Decided To Alter The Volume Of The Existing Space. The Region With Workstations, From Where The Employees Would Operate, Had Double The Height. This Ensured That Employees Enjoyed A Free Atmosphere While Working. Connected With This Region Through A Staircase Were Reimagined Laboratories, Offices For The Key Personnel, Storage Spaces, Pantry-Lunch Room And A Conference Room. Further, We Decided That We Must Not Limit Ourselves To Designing An Office, But Ensure That The Space Thoroughly Reflects The Evergreen Brand Through Interior Design. Lastly, We Identified Materials And Concepts That Must Be Used To Ensure Durability And Minimal Maintenance, Yet Retain The Aesthetic Appeal Of The Space.

Role:

Interior Design

Client Brief:
Our client for this project was Evergreen Industries. The company is a leading manufacturer of dyes at their state-of-the-art facility based in Vatva, the hub of chemical industries in Ahmedabad. The client (one of the directors of the company) provided us with a rather clear brief. One of the primary objectives of this project was to design a space that would provide the employees of Evergreen with the best working environment that ensures they remain sufficiently motivated while working. Further, owing to the global scale of their business, the client imagined the space with a contemporary design that meets with international standards. Lastly, as the industry is prone to frequent wear and tear, special onus was laid on using materials that are durable and require minimal maintenance as well as optimum utilisation of the space.

Concept of the space:

Design Process:
The Most Consistent Aspect Of Our Design Was Playing With Lines In One Form Or The Other. We Ensured That A Variety Of Elements Like The Flooring, Partitions, Workstations Or Ceilings Used Lines And Diagonals And Made For A Theme That Was Evenly Spread Out. The Exercise Allowed Us To Bring Together Our Creativity And The Client’s Vision Of A Contemporary Office That Promoted A Conducive Atmosphere For Employees And Justified The Global Scale Of Their Business.

To Seamlessly Incorporate The Evergreen Brand Experience Right From When One Enters The Office, We Developed A Green Wall At The Reception Desk. Further, We Used A Colour Scheme That Reflects In The Logo Of Everon, The Company’s Leading Brand.

To Give The Space An Even More Raw And Free Experience, As Well As The Client’s Requirement To Have Maintenance At A Minimum. To Give The Space An Industrial Touch, While Retaining The Aesthetics And The Theme, We Decided To Have An Open Ceiling With A Conduit Layout. We Added A Turquoise Blue Colour, Along With A Grey Coloured Slab, That Added To The Client’s Brief As Well. The Furniture Designed Had A Scandanavian Touch And The Materials Were Curated Carefully Such That They Ensure Durability And Longevity. We Primarily Used Mild Steel (MS) Along With Wood, Jaisalmer Stone As Well As Handmade Tiles Not Only For Their Robust Nature, But Also Efficiency In Terms Of Costing, Transportation And Access.

The Result Was An Office Space That Was A Perfect Blend Of Our Creativity And Aesthetics, And The Client’s Vision Of Their Space.
