From the outset, ESTARA was envisioned as a distinctive brand experience. The project began with an inquiry received through social media from two ambitious young brothers, determined to carry forward their ancestral legacy—Premji Valji, a renowned gold jewellery brand from Rajkot – into a new era. Their bold vision: to create a pan-India boutique specializing in lab-grown diamonds, offering a fresh and refined perspective in jewellery retail.
Breaking away from conventional store aesthetics, Adhwa aimed to design a space that elevates the jewellery without overpowering it. Instead of leaning into the opulence typically associated with high-end jewellery stores, the design embraces minimalism. The boutique was conceptualized as a serene, sculptural backdrop that lets the craftsmanship of the jewellery shine.
Fluid wall structures form the spatial shell, while intersecting arches subtly define display zones without heavy visual partitions. This approach allows for seamless space planning while maintaining a sense of openness and flow. Custom-designed furniture echoes the organic curves of the architecture, softened with rounded edges and wrapped in a muted, neutral palette.
